కాలాల మార్పు నియమం (Change of Tense)

Correct: B — Simple Past

Backshift నియమం: Simple Present → Simple Past. "I eat rice" → he said that he ate rice. Past Perfect అనేది Simple Past కు మారే రూపం. Reporting Verb భూతకాలమైతేనే ఈ మార్పు వస్తుంది.

Correct: C — would

Will → would, Can → could, May → might, Shall → should. "I will help you." → He said that he would help me. ఈ నాలుగు మార్పులను బట్టీ పట్టాలి; ఇవి Modal Verbs లో కాల మార్పును చూపే ముఖ్య జతలు.

Correct: D — could

Can → could. నోట్స్ ప్రకారం Will → would, May → might, Shall → should. Could, would, should, might వంటి Modals ఇప్పటికే భూతరూపంలో ఉండటం వల్ల సాధారణంగా మారవు.

Correct: A — Past Perfect

Present Perfect → Past Perfect: "I have finished." → he said that he had finished. Simple Past → Past Perfect కూడా అవుతుంది, కానీ Present Perfect కు Past Perfect సరైన జత.
